adventure is good for the soul
i can remember the first time i wanted real adventure. i was a teenager rocking a lime green nintendo ds lite and playing the legend of zelda: phantom hourglass.
perhaps i was bored living in a small town but i wanted to escape so badly. this game was pure escapism, travelling to islands while being lost at sea. why i thought about this today i have no idea, but it reminded me how far i've gone.
i got my adventure after all. i've been lucky to be able to visit 17 countries over the years and i'm planning to make it eighteen in november.
i'm still in this small town and in the same house. i'm older now but i'm slowly but surely getting to the point of realising what i want to do in the near future. adventure is good for the soul and i look forward to my next one.
